Okay. Straight after my last paper which was iTech on Thursday, i got home and went to the airport to catch on a flight which departs at 11.30. I have to get there early to check-in and also to get the best possible seat in the plane. My aunts, cousins and uncles sent us off at the airport. I was so excited to go as this was my first ever trip to Europe.

So we said our goodbyes and went in and boarded the plane, SQ490! Its Singapore Air OKAY! I love their services, good steward and stewardess. Nice ppl. Our family even got accuainted to a steward and chief stewardess which were husband and wife. Husband and wife working together, how cool is that!

The journey took about 12 hours as the flight from S'pore had to transt at Dubai before going to Istanbul, Turkey. It was tiring sitting in the plane bu it was cool. I just killed time by sleeping or playing vidoe games or watch movies and TV shows like Bourne Ultimatum, HSM2, Simpsons, Ugly betty and more..

Upon reaching, it was SUPER COLD! it was lie 3 degrees Celcius! Our breaths condensed into what looked like smoke as we were talking. COOL!

Got into our hotel which i made bookings online which i made 1 month before travelling. The ppl there are super friendly!! We did not shop a lot other than souvenirs as thier currency and stuff were more exp than in s'pore. Its like S$1 = YTL 0.82 i think. Imagine a Burger King meal costing about S$17 !!!!! and a large onion ring costs about S$ 8!! Super exp.. so dun complain abut the price in Singapore..its considered cheap okay!

The historical town was super BEAUTIFUL!! When i say Beautiful i mean BEAUTIFUL! The famous landmaks like the "BLUE MOSQUE", "HAGIA SOPHIA" and "TOPKAPI PALACE" was super nice. Full of history which ranges from the Ottoman Empire until today! The Blue mosque was indescribable. You'll have to see it with your own eyes. Being a muslim like the poeple there, i got to pray in the mosque.

The people there however knows very little English and they speak Turkish not Arabic so i had to ask them in super basic English language. It was okay. It was nice. Some know how to speak in very little Malay. Some, knowing we were from Singapore, wanted to see if we knew mandarin so they asked like "Ni hao ?" i answered back "Wo hen hao. Ni le?" at that point he was dumbfounded. surprised that we knew mandarin. Haha.. wait till they hear some Tamil words i knew.. haha.

All and all it was great family time and super nice scenic views of the seas and castles and historical buildings, Walking there is like walking in Paris. The streets are the same. I have sooooooo fallen in love with the country! Nice weather, nice people, nice food and nice places! I dun mind migrating there. hehe. I don't deny that i missed home quite a bit maybe due to the fact that we in Singapore arer very systematic people who is always in a rush. There in Istanbul, i had to adapt and learn to relax, unwind. They lead a slower pace in life which i longed for. They also enjoy the simple pleasures in life, which we in S'pore is uncapable of.

Being there opened my eyes. People there do not judge you by your skin color or race. Knowing that we were fellow muslims from different parts of the world gives me a sense of pride and bond that we share. Our common greeting like "Assalamualaikum" and "Wa'alaikumusSalam" were the same so they treated us as their own. I'll never forget the expereince of a lifetime i had in Istanbul.

Okay so now i'm officially bored. I'm now having my 2 hrs break before my next subject! Can you believe it? 2 whole freakin hours! Oh yeah now i'm using yihao's pc to update my blog. Thnx YIHAO! hahaha.. btw your password's lame. haha.

As usual the school was packed with people and students! First day... haha. The lecture theater was naturally packed with students and will be empty the next few weeks to come. Time table suck! Lots of not needed breaks which is boring. Loads of booklets to purchase which means lots of money needed to spend!

Oh btw its still Hari Raya so SELAMAT HARI RAYA! EID MUBARAK! to all who celebrates!

So yeah thats it..we'll see how the first week of school is gonna end...

OKay yeah yeah.. i may be a day late. But then the party goes on for 3 months! Haha..actually watched the fireworks from Tanjong Rhu.. it was great.

The best place we can get.. sooo near too. I'll have to admit , the fireworks were superb! beautiful! marvelous! The Singapore spirit was definitely there; at marina bay or at home or somewhere to watch the fireworks, the spirit was there. If you all notice.. this is the day where people can really feel the solemnness of our national anthem. It was inspirational, almost heavenly.

Okay yesterday we have made a breakthrough.. no la... haha.. our file sending system is finally working and we can send multiple files too.. hahaha.. i'm so like relieved! Other than that nothing much happened.

Here i have a story.. there are two little girls sitting in front of me. They are crazy, notorious, wierd but interesting. ONe likes to sleep while the other likes to fart. Okay. Nothing much happened except us(engineering students) are taking aver design school!. Apparently the students are taking advantage of this break to command and conquer design school food court. The food is nice, cheap and there is a lot of variety. Chicken, Fish, Crap(meat), beef, mutton and etc. Actually the place is not that bad and it was cooling and windy. NICE..

The only advantage though is that it is SUPER puny. If in terms of size, it doesn't even hold a candle compared to short circuit! WHAHAHA.... So the gang and i decided that we should use this this is like only the third time i ate there. haha.. pathetic for a 3rd year senior rite?

I know.. i know.. i haven't been blogging as religiously as you thought but then again people have other obligations and needs to fulfill. Its been almost half a yeah since i last blogged. Over the months, lots have happened. From completing my 2.2 to choosing my CU for mp/sip(which is hell) to my couzin getting married to my leaking kitchen toilet, to hospitalised uncle to Paris Hilton giong to jail for DUI; out of the jail into home arrest and back into jail(for once i pity her. sad. her famous quote "Mom! No mom! It's not right!").

Yesterday got questioned by eng eng . She thought i was playing games when i was watching my favourite show stargate atlantis! Now there's a camera at the back of me. Spying. Spy-Cam. Damn! I'd rather they use the money for a new air-cond system then spending it for a small stick-like camera(cctv). HATE IT!..

Zunbin is going vegetarian for 2 weeks for a prize money of $10 from me and mardiya wahaha. i hope he can last long enough to smell the money. hehe. he must be starving as we speak(or type in this case.)..hehe. And yeah playing song on my background is one of my fav songs.. Everything by Mr. Buble.(i call him michael. hehe.. )

Me, mardiya, Nurul and Rabi together... we like played masak2 haha..it was cool.. joked a lot together and haha..we stuffed our stomach to the max.. mardiya was the first to surrender then rabi then it was only me and nurul..have to admit we did eat a lot! hehe...lol.. after eating we went back home..went our seperate ways and yeah...looking forward to another feast like this.. so i walked back home coz was feeling too full..so i tot it might be a good idea to walk.. so got home and went to the toilet and then..you know what happens..wahaha

Well nothing much happened except for the fact that we were basically torturing liping with love torments..haha...liping and willis... so north and south pole.. yihao took willis' phone and took liping's photo and set it as wallpaper and he did the same to liping too! haha..damn funny lar... she was like"go to hell lar....".. and liping, you've got issues with your hair...go do something to it... perm it or color it or anything....or since you dont like it...shave your head BALD.wahaha...it would be easier...no need shampooing or combing...just rub oil on it to make it shine and blind our eyes..

well its already Sunday and i barely did anything on saturday apart for java. As usual..nothing much happened..The only thing is that its my sister's birthday today and so we went out to have breakfast...my sis chose mcDonald so we went to Changi Airport teminal2. Had my usual BIg Breakfast and honestly..it wasn't enough...the scrambled egg is getting lesser and lesser.. Then went to Tampines mall and century Square to buy her presents and then went home....and feeling tired....couldn't sleep well last nite... have been having wierd dreams lately....some scary some seemed real.. But wat the hell....so i'm kinda bored rite now... stinking assignments all due on the same week. Tiring Day

I'm soooooooooooooooo tired today...had lots of drilling to do....drilling the toilet for the new shower i bought at Tanjong Katong Complex.. drilled the clothes hanger....drilled the shelves in my bedroom... cleaned my room.. clean the toilets...so not glamour....clean throwing away unwanted stuff.. and stumbled upon some old toys that i use to play with... those were the times.. project-less, carefree..........haiz....too bored and tired that is why i 'm updating my blog..it gives me a reason to turn on my laptop..whahaha...oh yeah my mum cooked "nasi rawan" and i had to make the "bagedil"(i think its spelt this way...haha..wateva)...watched tv and boy there was nothing except golf on it..its sooo boring....and the weather's bad too...the downpour came down suddenly..heh...luckily was indoors...

planning to go to the library tomorrow...books due...and i'm looking for someone to go out with but who............??????????????? (btw zunbin count yourself out.....)

yeah..had slumber party yesterday.. got all my cousins to come over to my place.. so here's the plan.
9.00~9.30: Truth or dare

9.30~ 10.30: Warm up..haha(just playing card games and stuff...the classical ones eg. Old maid, Donkey, Snap etc..)

10.30~12.30: Horror Movie

1.30~ 2.30: Late night Supper( had root berr floats made by us.. A&W root beer with vanilla ice-cream in it, lots of potato chips and snacks.)

2.30~4.30: Monopoly and as usual i won!

4.30~5.30: Super early meal...cup noodles..

5.30~6.00: prayers

6.00~8.00: Movie(Comedy)

9.00~10.00: Breakfast

11.00~ i don't know when...: Sleep!

So we did almost all of that and it was fun.. some of my cousins got scribblings all over their body coz they lost on a game..

It was a super unhealthy night coz we just filled our stomaches with junk food!

Slept and when i woke up got a splitting headache but soon got it killed by panadol! It works wonders..

Then i went to the mosque for a religoius event...

Got home feeling tired..and slept again..

oh yay! Finally the main exams are over....i'm having this kinda strange feeling...this stressless feeling..its strange when you face stress everyday and you get accustomed to it then suddenly there's no stress... it fells empty somehow...

ok so..had not much planned fer this holiday but i am planning a slumber party for my cousins.. they're thrilled..coz its like the first slumber party we're having..cool huh? for those not invited sorry la...its strictly for blood related human peps..hah...

ok back to the real world.. updated my blog's song and all....this is strange. usually i have a lot to say but now..i'm kinda blank... i just freaked out when my brother lost his entry proof for his 'N' levels...thats all..its like a 5 second freak out...

bought a new game to fill up my time during the holidays....interesting...

oh yeah...on the last day of exam mardiya, liping, yvonne and bf and i. went to parkway them to east coast to have stingray and satay..it was cool..but the journey there was trecherous...we insanely walked from parkway to the food centre.....it was a miracle that we survived the1 hr walk

Heyya all..finally found the time to update my blog.... here's the story...

Last Friday, i had my EMath2 exam and boy did i get wet..
Before i went up i unexpectedly met up with Nj's friend, Biyu. We decided to sit down for a while and chatted as we sigh and rant about math... telling each other our insecurities of the subject. It was fun and she was hillarious...funny...... we joked about our math lecturer saying that my math teacher is quite slow..coz he has a lot of "uuuuhhhhh" in his sentences.. heh..
Then Cher Sian came.

Then it was the moment of truth, it was time to sit for the paper and once Biyu, Cher Sian and i stepped into the examination room the fat, ugly caucasian lady lecturer said at the top of her voice "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen..please put your bags at the side, handphones switched off and put in the bag! Thank you"..she said it with an arrogant tone..

We each found our seats and stared at the exam paper.. Then usually, before the start of paper the invigilator in charge would read the guidelines..so the fat lady sings" Okay ppl please listen up, You are not allowed to have handphones, pagers or any communicating device on you. Please also erase all mathematical formulae in your calculator. PLs ensure that there are no pieces of paper or scribblings on you. If you have please declare them now. Disciplinary action would be taken if found after the commencement of the exam."

I brought along a mineral water which had vapour on it as it was cold..i put it on the floor next to my table. As she was saying the guidelines, i saw a drop of water on my calculator..thinking that it might be my mineral water, i wiped it off with my hand. Then, i noticed there was more droplets of water on my papers..then i tought where the water might come from. Then.... when i turned my face towards the fat and ugly lecturer, i saw a drop of water on my glasses......

Damn! The lady is spitting saliva as she was talking...eeeeeewwwwww... her head was turning 180 degrees as she was talking.. the girll beside me also got the 'water treatment'. eeeeewww..
She saw what happened and passed me a tissue paper. And the fat lady screamed...read the dialog:

Fat lady: Why are you passing things around!? Why do you need tissue paper for?

The girl: eeerrrr

Fat lady: "oh sorry then."

So i continued with doing my math.....
it was do-able.....

moral of the story: so next time before you start talking...control your saliva output!

Another post on my blog....haha

Went to The Esplanade on Friday with Zun Bin and Liping. We took the MRT to City Hall and on the way in the MRT, Liping and i almost died. Zunbin can't stop yapping! He kept asking what was inside the Esplanade. OMG Zunbin!!!!!! Call yourself a Singaporean!! So LiPing and i were like"hmm okay..take this 'kai-kai' trip as a tour!" Then he kept on talking and talking and talking loudly in the MRT!! Embarrassing. Then we passed by Kallang MRT station and decided to change the topic. So read this dialog:

Me: "Hey its the stadium, too bad its gonna be demolished and rebuilt."

LiPing: "Yeah. And the fireworks display was very nice. So next few years at the Padang huh?"

Me: "Yeah"
(Zunbin interrupted)

Zunbin: "So where's the padang?"

Liping:"OMG! You don't know where the padang is!? Its very near the Esplanade at city hall there."

Zunbin:"I've never been to the padang before. "
(Zunbin you're hopeless! No LIFE ar you!)

Then he asked again:

Zunbin: "So what does the building look like?"

Liping and I: "ZUNBIN!!!!!! Your whole life in S'pore you dont even know what the padang is!?"

Me: "In malay, 'Padang' means field. So its just an open field."

Zunbin:"Really??"

Me: "ZunBin Just shut up"

Liping: "Yeah shut up!"
(Zunbin still kept on talking)

Liping and I: "SHUT UP!"

We almost went mad in the MRT. Zunbin don't you ever go out and enjoy life for a moment. You're too much of a home-stay boy and childish too. DO NOT STAY IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER TOO MUCH COZ IT TURNS YOU STUPID!

So we got off at City Hall and walked at the City Link and headed for the Esplanade.
Met Yvonne and Jonathan and sat at Haagen Daaz for a while. We talked and talked.

Then suddenly........
A nightmare came out of the corner. It was ugly, it was hideous, It was...............Clarise. Kurap girl. For those of you who doesn't know who she is.. she is my secondary school's nightmare. Her legs ugly coz got kurap and i mean kurap..its a long story. So i sat there and froze hoping that she would not notice me and she didn't. Thank God!

Yvonne got a present for her boyfriend, DJ. We went to Raffles City and window shopped. I visited my Aunt at Royal Selangor and went off. From Raffles Yvonne went off for her date with her boyfriend. Then we went to Suntec City. And in the end followed ZUnBin to the Capsule corner, You know the machine thingy where you have to put $1 coins and turn the gear thingy and the toys come out in capsules. Zunbin basically went mad there. Me,Liping and Jonathan's mouth dropped open! ZUnbin you're seriously too childish. He went from shop to shop looking at Gundam models, power rangers and etc.. all the ppl there were mostly kids and ZunBin is the only 17+ year old there. Walao!

Got hungry and bought foodstuff at Old Chang Kee. Went back home. On the way in the MRT another dialog:

ZunBin: Exams coming soon!

Me: "Yeah. soon we'll be in year 2.2 then 3 then graduate."

Zunbin:"Yeah then we can go work."

Me:"Oi, there is still NS!"

ZunBin: "If i had money, i would go overseas and not go NS."

Me: "Even if you go overseas, you still have to attend NS if you still hold your Singaporean nationality."

Zunbin:"I challenge you to do that."

ME:"watever. You can challenge me but you can't challenge the Government! hah!"

Haha....he got off at Eunos and i at Tampines.

went home tired. (tired of entertaining zunbin)

Moral of this story: Ignore Zunbin!

Oh yeah.. projects are all done! presented my NETINFRA project and it was okay.

And yeah.."Stalker" wasn't there. It turned out to be a good day.

I had no idea how to do the individual test but somehow i mannaged to scrape through it. Dumb luck i guess.

Oh yeah Mobcomp was great. he only asked my 1 Super easy question. Managed to complete the project if not for Shui li & Paul's help! Thanks guys. You're the best. Well at least after me. i'm the no. 1 best..haha.. bear with me ppl.

Had lunch with mardiya and liping. As usual we talked and laugh. lucky to have such good friends who can bear with my superb use of language filled with informative crap. Yeap crap or oyster or lobster. wateva lar!

Well Tomorrow is gonna be an even better day i hope.. TELESYS! damn must come to school just bcoz of telesys and watch some disgustingly disgusting group present.(da minahs!).

Am i sounding more and more like jacinta(redundant s'pore idol judge)...hope not...
